Like the previous opus, this last opus of the "Spirit of the Island" series refers to the volcano still active but this time outside. The spectacle it offers us at each eruption is of great inspiration.
This painting which oscillates between lyrical abstraction and landscape is a large format, its main colour is a misty pink tending to green on the right in its upper part. Its other colour is a purple blue in its lower part evoking depth, mystery and danger. Red and yellow, the colours of fire and lava, are omnipresent throughout the work.
